They stretched. They warmed up. They looked like any other dance crew waiting for the music to start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then \u201cUptown Funk\u201d kicked in\u2014and the room exploded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What followed wasn\u2019t just a dance routine. It was a declaration. Flips so clean they looked effortless. Synchronized moves sharper than a tailor\u2019s pin. Confetti rained down. The boys stood there, breathless and beaming, their lives changed in under three minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>So\u2026 Did They Win?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not exactly. But they came close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After sailing through the semis, Boyband narrowly missed the public vote\u2014but the judges believed in them enough to hand them a wildcard into the Grand Final. Though they finished in 12th place, winning wasn\u2019t really the point. Making history was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where Are They Now?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group may have disbanded, but their talent didn\u2019t skip a beat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dylan Mayoral<\/strong>\u00a0built a global dance career, launched his own training program, and formed a new crew called Wonderkids.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jaih Betote<\/strong>\u00a0landed a role in the 2019\u00a0<em>Cats<\/em>\u00a0film and now performs and teaches worldwide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mike McNeish<\/strong>\u00a0joined the iconic dance troupe Flawless and tours internationally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mikey Ureta<\/strong>\u00a0moved into choreography and branding, working with names like Reebok.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Corey Culverwell<\/strong>\u00a0stepped back from performing, choosing a life outside the spotlight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>More Than Moves<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their journey wasn\u2019t all confetti and cheers. Some minor controversies surfaced\u2014old tweets, a prior appearance on&nbsp;<em>Got to Dance<\/em>\u2014but the guys handled it with grace. \u201cWe didn\u2019t deceive anyone\u2026 talent is talent,\u201d they said.
