The animal had lost his roar, but is now slowly recovering.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For five long years, Ruben was trapped in a concrete cell, growing increasingly lonely to the point that he lost his roar. His situation was a result of unfortunate circumstances, as he was left behind in an abandoned zoo in Armenia after his owner&#8217;s passing.
