But a little tick can completely change your life, and to complicate matters further, the symptoms are not always clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s exactly what happend to mother Jessica Griffin who became aware of this when she found one morning that her little daughter was completely paralyzed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jessica Griffin currently warns all mothers and fathers to check their children well for tick bites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warning comes after a startling occurrence that ruled fear on the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jessica immediately took her daughter to the hospital, where doctors performed blood tests and a CT scan of her head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaylin was eventually diagnosed with \u2018tick paralysis\u2019, the mother composed on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tick paralysis can affect canines as well as humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When a tick stings its casualty, it infuses saliva, which causes a negative reaction in the safe framework. This thusly causes temporary paralysis, or in outrageous cases, even death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gamble is greater when the tick stings the scalp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaylin was hospitalized and remained under observation. Naturally, her parents stressed as they won\u2019t ever do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, Kaylin\u2019s condition improved and she gradually began to recuperate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mother Jessica as of late posted updates about the case, including an image of the tick eliminated from Kaylin\u2019s head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reactions to the mother\u2019s warning were many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many parents shared their tales about how they too tracked down ticks on their children \u2014 some even shared harrowing tales where their children almost kicked the bucket because of tick paralysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jessica said she had no idea her posts would turn into a web sensation, but she was also pleased that she was able to raise awareness about tick bites and tick paralysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Symptoms of tick-borne paralysis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.The symptoms usually happen 2-7 days after the chomp and start with weakness in the two legs, which then leads to paralysis<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.The paralysis spreads to the hands and head inside a couple of hours and can cause trouble breathing and death<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Although paralysis affects many animals and cattle, disease in humans is rare and usually happens in children under 10 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    It could have ended very badly for Kaylin, but thanks to her parents\u2019 quick response, she survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u00abShe is home today, and everything is back to normal\u00bb, Jessica said.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
