Her name is Eela, and she was able to accomplish this precocious feat at the tender age of eleven weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newborns love to chatter away a mile a minute, making all kinds of sounds as they discover the wonders of speech. Parents must try to decipher what they\u2019re saying, making sense of words that are most often gibberish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At eleven weeks in age, Little Eela is capable of such a precocious feat: saying her own name. Her adoring mother caught the precious moment on video, so Internet users everywhere can watch it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"604\" height=\"1017\" src=\"https:\/\/istori.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-624.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3904\" srcset=\"https:\/\/istori.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-624.png 604w, https:\/\/istori.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-624-178x300.png 178w, https:\/\/istori.website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-624-600x1010.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This accomplishment is surprising not only because Eela is so young but also because, most often, an infant\u2019s first words are \u201cmommy\u201d or \u201cdaddy.\u201d So Eela is not only super intelligent for a baby, but she\u2019s also a maverick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although babies can start making sounds as early as seven-weeks, most of these utterances are proto-speech, or sounds close to words but not quite.
