I’ve always been completely helpless when it comes to puzzles. When I was six, my grandmother gave me a book called Train Your Brain for my birthday. Naturally, it sat untouched on a shelf until I was nearly sixteen. And even then, I couldn’t figure out half of the riddles inside.
That said, I do know one thing: puzzles and optical illusions are wildly popular online. People around the world love challenging themselves with hidden object games and brain teasers that seem simple—until you actually try them.
Recently, I stumbled across an illusion that totally stumped me. I’ll admit, I don’t have the sharpest eyes in the world… but this one really got me thinking. Take a look at the image below—known as The Tree of National Leaders—and try to count how many faces you can spot hidden in it. 🎨🕵️♂️
Can You Find All the Hidden Faces?
It’s not entirely clear where this image first appeared, but it’s now gone viral across social media. People everywhere are competing to see who can find the most faces hidden in the intricate branches and leaves of this mysterious tree.
Everyone immediately spots the two large faces at the base of the tree—but things get much trickier from there.
Some say the number of faces you can find may say something about your memory and brain function. 👇
So, How Many Did You Find?
Here’s what your number might mean:
🔹 2–4 Faces:
The two big faces are obvious, and maybe you spotted one or two more. If that’s where you stopped, it could suggest some memory issues or just that your visual attention isn’t at its sharpest today. Don’t worry—brain training helps!
🔹 5–6 Faces:
If you managed to find five or six faces, that’s better! But some believe it might indicate a higher risk of memory-related conditions like dementia or Alzheimer’s. Worth keeping an eye on and working that brain muscle.
🔹 7–8 Faces:
Your memory is in pretty decent shape. You’re on the right track, and with more mental exercises like this one, you can sharpen your skills even more.
🔹 9 or More Faces:
Congratulations! 🎉 If you spotted nine or more, your memory and visual recognition are excellent. You’re a natural when it comes to hidden object puzzles.
