America’s Got Talent is famous for showcasing incredible singers, but every now and then, a performance comes along that proves talent knows no boundaries. Izzy and Easton, a young dance duo from Las Vegas, did just that—leaving the judges and audience in awe with their breathtaking contemporary routine.
At just 11 and 14 years old, Izzy and Easton have been dancing together for five years, forming an unbreakable bond. Izzy describes Easton as a big brother, and their deep connection is evident in every move they make on stage. Their AGT audition, set to Fleurie’s Soldier, told an emotional story of a soldier leaving his younger sister behind for war. Their performance had everything—flawless technique, raw emotion, and perfect synchronization. It was a powerful reminder that true talent isn’t defined by age but by skill, passion, and storytelling.
With over 67 million views on YouTube, their audition is one of the most-watched performances from the show. And yet, despite the overwhelming love from fans, many were furious that the judges didn’t award them the Golden Buzzer.
Even the judges’ conversation became a meme:
- Simon Cowell: “Who likes contemporary dance?”
- Julianne Hough: “Me.”
- Simon: “And?”
- Julianne: “Everyone.”
- Simon: “Who?”
- Julianne: “The world.”
Julianne, a professional dancer herself, was in awe of their performance, encouraging them to push their limits. Even Simon, initially skeptical of contemporary dance, admitted he was impressed and congratulated them on a phenomenal audition.
Though their AGT journey eventually came to an end, their story was far from over. Izzy and Easton have continued to amaze audiences, training and performing with The Rock Center for Dance, a youth company dedicated to helping young dancers excel. One of their standout performances, set to Don’t Give Up On Me by Andy Grammer, is a beautiful testament to their friendship and artistry.
Their talent, dedication, and confidence make one thing clear—this is just the beginning for Izzy and Easton.
