An 88-year-old dancer named Penny Starr Sr. took the stage on America’s Got Talent and left everyone speechless with her lively and unforgettable routine. Proving that age is just a number, Penny showed off her dance moves and charmed both the judges and the audience with her dazzling performance.
Penny hails from Palm Bay, Florida, and proudly calls herself America’s oldest burlesque dancer. Dressed in vibrant red, white, and blue feathers, she beamed with joy and declared, “I want to give America a real show, a get-up-and-go show!”
When judge Simon Cowell asked if she was single, Penny gave a cheeky reply. She shared that she’s a widow with six past husbands and joked, “I’m open to a seventh, but it takes some time to break them in.”
As the music began to play—“You’re a Grand Old Flag”—Penny started dancing with flair. Slowly and playfully, she removed parts of her costume, revealing layers of feathers and sparkling details. The audience roared with laughter and applause, and even host Terry Crews jumped into the fun, tossing red, white, and blue confetti across the stage.
