Uncle and Niece Amaze AGT Judges with “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” Performance

Joseph B. Clarke, or Jojo as he’s known, teamed up with his niece Bri’Anna Harper to deliver a show-stopping performance on America’s Got Talent Season 17. They chose the classic song “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” and their energy lit up the entire auditorium.

This wasn’t Jojo’s first time on the AGT stage. He previously appeared in Season 15 as part of the vocal group Resound. Although they made it to the quarterfinals, they didn’t win. From that experience, Jojo learned to “never give up,” a lesson he carried into this new performance with his niece.

Before they sang, the judges asked young Bri what she would do with a million dollars if they won. She replied with a big smile, saying she wanted “to make the world happy and make it a better place.” She even said she’d donate the money to charity, warming everyone’s hearts.

As they began their song, Bri’s amazing voice took everyone by surprise. The duo filled the room with joy, and their voices blended perfectly. The audience clapped along, and you could feel the happy vibes all around.

When they finished, the entire audience and all the judges stood up to applaud them. Simon Cowell said, “That was the definition of joy and magic.” Bri couldn’t stop grinning as the judges showered them with praise.

Howie Mandel added, “I loved it. I think this whole room loved it. I think people in America loved it. But even more important, you’re going to be remembered.”

With four enthusiastic “yeses” from the judges, Jojo and Bri advanced to the next round. Their effortless singing and the special connection they shared on stage made their performance unforgettable. One of the coolest moments was when Jojo cheered, “Come on, Bri,” and she absolutely nailed her part!

Their story shows that talent runs in the family and that age is just a number when it comes to making dreams come true. It’s clear that no mountain is high enough to stop this uncle and niece duo!
