Coaches Left Speechless by 15-Year-Old’s ‘The Voice’ Audition

The stage is lit in hues of blue and purple as a solitary piano sets the ambiance with its higher keys. Swirling lights envelop the scene as 15-year-old Ryley Tate Wilson begins to sing the first line of “Dancing on My Own” by Robyn, his voice gentle yet striking.

Coach Kelly and Coach Nial are immediately captivated, hitting their buttons right after the first line. The camera pans to Ryley’s family, shocked yet thrilled, cheering on the coaches. “Pretty,” Coach Kelly remarks with a smile.

Amidst disbelief, Nial chuckles at the teenager’s remarkable abilities. Before the first verse concludes, Blake hears a soaring note from Ryley, prompting him to spin his chair around, met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Chance remains the only coach yet to turn, standing alongside his fellow coaches, entranced by the performance. Finally, as the tune draws to a close, Chance swivels his chair, acknowledging Ryley’s undeniable talent.

As the performance concludes, Ryley pauses, smiling, and is met with a standing ovation, visibly moved by the overwhelming emotion of the moment. Coach Kelly inquires about his age, to which he responds, “15.”

In disbelief, Nial exclaims, “What?” while Kelly springs out of her chair. Ryley reveals he hails from Montgomery, Alabama. “Ryley, my head nearly exploded. That was the best audition we’ve seen here by a long shot,” Nial exclaims, impressed beyond measure. The coaches engage in a spirited battle for the chance to coach the young talent.

The video of Ryley’s audition has garnered nearly 6 million views on YouTube.
