A Canadian farmer claims he has a cow bigger than the Aussie icon Knickers

It seems there’s a bit of a size rivalry going on in the world of large cows and steers. After Knickers, the viral Australian cow, became a sensation for his massive size, a Canadian farmer, Karl Schoenrock, claims to have a steer named Dozer who is even taller.

Karl Schoenrock states that Dozer is just over 6-foot-5, an inch taller than Knickers, and calls him a “gentle giant.” The size of these large cows and steers is indeed impressive, and they’ve gained fame for their extraordinary dimensions.

Dozer resides at Kismet Creek Farm in Manitoba, which is an animal sanctuary and petting farm. He was saved from being turned into meat when a vegan woman bought and rescued him as a calf from a beef-producing farm in Alberta.

Knickers, the Australian steer, became a viral sensation after a video of him towering over other cattle on a farm in Myalup, Western Australia, circulated on social media. He weighs over 3,000 pounds and, if slaughtered, would yield a substantial amount of beef.

Both Knickers and Dozer are Holstein Friesian steers, which is a dairy breed. Typically, the bulls of this breed reach heights of about 5-foot-10 and weigh around 2,200 pounds. These large steers are exceptions to the norm, and their size has captured the attention of people worldwide.
