As we all know, true love is when people even in old age love and care for one another. Sadly, true feelings are becoming fewer and fewer, however, one elderly couple from Japan is proving the opposite to us. Yukaso and Toshiyuki have been married for fifty years.
One of the most interesting aspects of their story is the fact that the marriage was not designed for love but by their parents’ agreement, but soon after the wedding, it became clear that they were made for each other, and despite the difficulties they encountered, they began to live a very happy life together.
As far as Yasuko is concerned, she has always supported her husband, regardless of the difficulties they face. After the birth of children, the couple decided to start farming and bought several cows. In spite of the fact that they had to work in the field during the day and take care of cattle, their life began to improve and they began to get up very early.
As a result of their efforts, they were able to provide for and raise children, and then began to save money for travel. Unfortunately, the woman got worse and worse the next day, and on the day when she became completely blind, the doctors were not able to help her, she was diabetic, and that may have been the case.
Eventually, the woman reconciled because her husband was always trying to surround her with love and care, knowing that he loved flowers as much as he did. Toshiyuki planted rose flowers in the garden called shibazakura, which are bright pink in color and bloom most of the summer and autumn, in addition they are scented as well.
For the next ten years, the man planted flowers throughout an area of almost three thousand square meters. Around their house turned out to be an actual pink fragrant carpet, making the Yasukos’ house known throughout the entire area. Tourists and locals alike came to see the beautiful flowers and speak with the Yasukos.
As a result of her poor eyesight, the woman almost always sat at home and remained mute throughout the day because she enjoyed talking with everyone.
