There are people who were just born with the gift of gab, the kind who can chat up a stranger one minute and be their best friend the next. It’s not uncommon for them to be able to talk their way out of a parking ticket, get an extra drink from the bartender, and even negotiate the price of a used car.

It’s true that Chatty Cathy’s are able to carry on a conversation and speak their minds, and it starts young, as seen here with Emilia, a 16-month-old who is very talkative. Emilia is at home with her mother, and the two of them are spending the afternoon together enjoying the afternoon together.

In addition to making sure Emilia hears daddy’s voice every day while he is away on business, mom also lets her play with the phone so she can hear his voice, but she did not expect her toddler to take over!
Mom lovingly records all the fun going down as the girl yammers away in a language only she knows and can speak with daddy. “This is Emilia talking to daddy on the phone,” says mom, giggling and laughing away.

It’s almost as though Emilia is a trader on the floor, closing a high-profile money-making deal, as she makes all kinds of sounds and says all kinds of wonderful and colorful things only she can understand. While cradling her phone, she’s pacing madly through the living room while holding it in her hand.

It seems as though dad is on the other end of the conversation, able to fully reciprocate in his daughter’s hilariously nonsensical language, although some of her words are more prominent while others don’t seem as important, but there are pauses and breaks between her verbal outbursts.

A barely recognizable number of words are available, “num num nummies” and “buggy,” but she seems to be on a roll, the conversation comes to a close, and she says, “Buh byyye! ”

There’s no doubt that daddy’s little girl could have stayed on the phone for hours, what a cutie! Emilia pushes the “end call” button, and the call ends despite Emilia’s wishes.
