House looks beautiful – but people refuse to buy it because of what they see inside

It’s true that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, so what is appealing to one may be hideous to another. This is why they say there can be no disputes when it comes to taste. The same goes for one house in the UK that was listed for sale and which attracted a lot of buyers, but after seeing the inside, most of them said just “no, thank you,” and passed the property over.

In the listing, it was stated that the house maintained “high standards,” but the meaning of this word wasn’t always clear. The house featured four bedrooms, a master suite, a garage, and a beautifully manicured garden.

Despite the perfect appearance of this home, you will find every inch of it painted purple, including the walls, carpets, furniture, well, all of it. No matter how much one loves this color, everyone agrees that it’s far too much. So, what else is purple? The floors, the ceilings, the curtains, you name it.

There is purple on the closet doors in the master suite as well, and while the walls can be painted over easily, fixtures like the closet doors can be tricky to replace.

While the bathtub itself is white, the bathroom floor and the sides of the bathtub are covered in shaggy purple carpeting. The tiles in the bathroom are white with purple floral details on top, and while the bathtub itself is white, the bathroom floor and the sides of the bathtub are white.

Unless the future buyer also loves purple, selling this house won’t be easy, even if the exterior gives the impression that everything inside is purple.
