Coaches Left Speechless by 15-Year-Old’s ‘Voice’ Audition

The Voice’s Blind Auditions always bring a huge number of participants with many surprises along the way. This time during the audition, 15-year-old Ryley Tate Wilson blew the coaches away with his vocal skills and incredible voice.

The scene when the stage is lit blue and purple when the piano starts playing alone on higher keys is so stunning. As soon as Ryley starts to sing the first line with a gentle, incredible voice, performing ‘Dancing on my Own’ by Robyn the lights slowly swirl around.

As soon as he finishes the first line of the song, Coach Kelly and Coach Nial hit her button. The camera captures the moment when Ryley’s family is in shock, cheering on the coaches. Coach Kelly smiles and says, “Pretty.”

At first Nial laughed at the teenager’s unbreakable abilities. And before the first line ends, as soon as Black hears him sing a higher note, he hits the button and spins his chair around while the audience claps in approval.

The last jury who didn’t hit the button is Chance, and the other coaches stand and watch the singer. When the singer was about to end the song Chance spun his chair to acknowledge the talent of Ryley.
He is overcome with emotion when he puts his hands on his knees at the end and smiles. He gets a standing ovation. Coach Kelly asks him how old he is, and he says 15 years old.

In disbelief, Nial says, “What?” and Kelly jumps out of her chair. He says he’s from Montgomery, Alabama. Nial says, “Ryley, my head nearly exploded. That was the best audition we’ve seen here by a longshot.” Each of the coaches fights for the right to coach the young talent.
