“After taking time off to pursue some other musical collaborations, Adam Lambert is making a comeback with his solo career after taking some time off from his performance career. Adam is already well known for his riveting and over-the-top stage performances as well as his stunning vocals.

After winning second place on American Idol’s eighth season in 2009, the Indianapolis, Indiana native’s career took off, selling over 3 million albums and 5 million singles worldwide. His first album, For Your Entertainment, impressively debuted at #3 on the U.S. Billboard charts.

Despite spending so much time touring with Queen, fans everywhere were intrigued by Adam Lambert’s new album Velvet, which will be released later this year.

The singer took the stage in a dark velvet suit straight out of the 1970s, complete with bell bottom pants and a shirt with an oversized collar, and he took his time with the song, one which can be best described as “groovy.”

Many people have wondered why Adam did not finish his latest album for four years, as his voice glided over the notes like smooth honey. Well, if his audition of “New Eyes” tells us anything, it reminds us of how incredibly talented Adam Lambert really is.
