Valentina Sosa’s Diamond Voice Dazzles Coaches and Fans on La Voz Kids Uruguay

Valentina Sosa didn’t just sing on La Voz Kids Uruguay — she created one of the most unforgettable moments of the season.

During the second blind audition on Canal 10, the 10-year-old singer amazed coaches and viewers with her powerful voice, stage presence, and charm. From the first notes of “Así no te amará jamás” by Amanda Miguel, it was clear she was special.

“I live with my mom and dad, and I love singing. I can’t explain it — it’s very special to me,” Valentina shared before stepping on stage. Encouraged by her grandmother with a microphone, she had already performed in Carnaval de las Promesas, where she won Best Voice, proving her talent long before the show.

All three coaches — Agustín Casanova, Rubén Rada, and Luana Persíncula — turned their chairs, causing a huge ovation. Rada said, “I’m truly moved by how complete you are,” while Luana added, “You left us shocked — not just by your voice, but your attitude.” Casanova focused on her confidence, asking how she felt seeing all three chairs turn. “A lot of joy and pride,” Valentina admitted, confessing she had been very nervous the night before.

Then came one of the funniest moments of the season: a plush toy battle. The coaches competed to win her over, offering gifts and promises. Casanova mentioned travel and even connections with stars like Tini Stoessel, Emilia, and María Becerra. Rada jokingly offered a tie, Casanova pulled out a small plush toy, and Rada showed a keychain. But Luana stole the show by returning from backstage with a giant blue teddy bear, leaving Valentina speechless and the audience laughing.

After a suspenseful moment, Valentina chose Team Agustín Casanova, running to hug her family as the audience cheered. Luana took the loss with humor: “Next time, bring a pink plush!” Casanova joked: “I’m taking the best voices — watch out!”

Still very young, Valentina proved she has a rare talent — a true diamond. Her voice, confidence, and emotional depth far surpass her age. She shone throughout the season, and in the grand finale, she performed “Un mundo ideal” with her coach and a solo rendition of “Oye”, winning massive public support.

After the final vote, Valentina Sosa was crowned winner of La Voz Kids Uruguay 2025. Her performances spread quickly online, gaining thousands of views and praise from fans for her talent, humility, and emotional connection.

Today, Valentina is recognized as one of Uruguay’s most promising young voices — a gifted child whose unforgettable audition marked the start of a bright musical future.
